Rules and Regulations

1. All children must be between the ages of 5 & 7 and weigh under 55 pounds.

2. A parental consent form must be signed at time of competition.

3. Eight contestants will be drawn to compete on Friday night.

4. Eight contestants will be drawn to compete on Saturday night.

5. Two alternates will be chosen for each night.

6. The drawing will take place on April 11th

7. Contestants will be called no later than April 14th to verify participation and

nights scheduled to ride.

8. Justin Boots will provide protective vests and helmets.

9. Prizes will be awarded each night including a Justin Belt Buckle.

10. Each contestant and one parent will be given a ticket to the rodeo on the night

they are drawn. Ticket packages may be picked up at Cavender’s Boot City

after April 14th.

The UNDERSIGNED hereby represent and warrant that they are the parent(s) of the MINOR CONTESTANT named above and that they have the full power, authority, capacity and right, without limitation, to execute deliver and perform this Release.

Acknowledgement of Risk:  The UNDERSIGNED understand and acknowledge that rodeos and related livestock events are dangerous activities and that participation in a rodeo or related livestock event exposes the participant to a substantial and serious hazard which may result in property damage and/or personal injury or death.  The UNDERSIGNED expressly acknowledges that the participation of the above names MINOR CONTESTANT will expose the MINOR CONTESTANT (him/her) to such hazards.

Release of Sponsor:  The UNDERSIGNED, being fully aware that participation by the above named MINOR CONTESTANT in the JUSTIN Mutton Bustin’ (hereinafter referred to as “Event”) competition to be held during the Longview PRCA Rodeo will expose the MINOR CONTESTANT to a substantial and serious risk of property damage and/or personal injury or death, hereby releases the JUSTIN Boot Company, a Division of JUSTIN Brand, Inc. (a Berkshire-Hathaway, Inc, Co.), Longview Rodeo Inc., The Rotary Club of Longview-Greggton, Texas, Inc, The City of Longview and Andrews Rodeo Company and each of its subsidiaries and the employees and agents of each such entity from liability, and waives the right to sue, for any and all property damage and/or personal injuries or death, or other claims arising from the above named MINOR CONTESTANT’S participation in the Event, even if the property damage and/or personal injury or death is determined to have resulted from the negligent acts or omissions of the RELEASEES.

Covenant Not to Sue:  The UNDERSIGNED covenant that they shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against the RELEASEES, their officers, directors, employees, agents, assigns or affiliates for damages of any type arising from participation of the above named MINOR CONTESTANT in the Event, whether such claims be for the benefit of the UNDERSIGNED or of the MINOR CONTESTANT.

Indemnification:  To the fullest extent permitted by law, the UNDERSIGNED hereby agree to defend and indemnify and to hold RELEASEE(S) harmless from any liability, claims, demands, causes of action, loss and/or damage arising from the participation of the above names MINOR CONTESTANT in the Event, even is caused by the negligent acts or omissions of any of the RELEASEE(S).

Release of Photograph:  The UNDERSIGNED, hereby grant permission to the JUSTIN Boot Company and to Longview PRCA Rodeo to use of the above MINOR CONTESTANT’S name and any photographs or other likenesses of MINOR CONTESTANT in connection with promotions of the event in which MINOR CONTESTANT participated and other events of the JUSTIN Boot Company.

This release has been carefully and fully read by the UNDERSIGNED and the UNDERSIGNED fully understand its terms and conditions and has voluntarily executed and delivered this release on this day.
